University of Continuing Education Krems (UWK)

The University of Continuing Education Krems (also Danube University Krems) is a public university of the Republic of Austria and is specialized in scientific continuing education. Its Research Lab Sustainable Cultural Heritage deals with holistic concepts for the reconstruction of earthquake-damaged.

Sapienza University of Rome (Sapienza) 

Sapienza was founded in 1303 and is one of the oldest public research universities in the world. The Department of History, Representation and Restoration of Architecture has extensive experience in the field of Cultural Heritage, documentation, analysis, and restoration, both at the national and international levels.



Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU) 

CTU is one of the largest universities in the Czech Republic with 8 faculties, and is one of the oldest institutes of technology in Central Europe. CTU is one of the largest research institutions in the world. More than 700 scientific and research projects are in progress in many engineering fields. 


Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (ITAM)

ITAM of the Czech Academy of Sciences, is a no-profit, public research institute. A division of applied sciences for cultural heritage represents an important hub for heritage-related research, as well as some departments involved in materials or structure research.
